Bush Signs “Mortgage Relief” Bill
Thank goodness our “limited government” Republicans are here to bail us out of the negative economic results of big government through the use of even more big government. Socialized housing, here we come.

You may be critical of President Bush’s and cogress’ spending, but when he signed it, I truly felt this wave of mortgage relief pass through my body. Even though I don’t own a house. Because I was poor/smart/scared enough not to when the prices were going up so fast.

Please take additional comfort in knowing that this act of relief allows the bubble to continue so that home prices can remain inflated. Yay! Imagine how much more you’ll be able to work before having to buy a house!
