Fight Club - October 2006
The entrepreneur fight club dinner in SLC was fun tonight. The conversation was markedly more tame than last time I went (no midget-warriors this time), but it was still pretty darn fun. The atmosphere was relaxed; basically everyone sits around, eats, and talks about what their working on, etc. It’s good stuff. We bounced some ideas around, talked about when to seek funding (and when not to), etc. I also met a few people I’d been interested in getting to know, including Richard Tripp from Yepic, Bob Barnes from Zonder, Colin Kelly Jr. from Lumin Publishing & Connect Magazine, Alex Lawrence from Lawrence Capital Management, and Nick Macey from University Venture Fund.
Jeff Barson, Ryan Money, & Geoff Osmond (all of whom I knew from before) were also there, along with “Jake” (whose last name I don’t remember, even though I asked him twice).

“Jake”, is of course Jake…. Actually I don’t know his last name either. Anyway, he’s the CTO/Developer of HireVue.
